What a myth

Matariki

On the 26 of june Pt england school had to pick what class they wanted to be in, These were the classes you could pick to be in Arts and Crafts, Cooking and Sports mostly everyone went to Arts and crafts, my highlight was that we got to make stars but the thing we had to to do the most in arts and crafts was cutting and folding, i made 6 stars.





Why Matariki is important celebrations are an important way of marking the passage of time as well as heralding new beginnings there is a group of stars also known as the Pleiades star cluster or The Seven Sisters




The reappearance of the seven Matariki stars, in late May or early June, signals the beginning of the Maori New Year. However, not all iwi celebrate at the same time. Some may begin on the first full moon after the star cluster rises, or on the next new moon.

Begin Writing Here: Once upon a time there was a girl named Emily, one day she went for a walk in the forest alone she could hear people screaming she thought there were people getting murdered in the forest she didn't know but she kept hearing i girl screaming help help. She followed where the voice came from then she found a girl crying but she didn’t know why then she saw a shadow on the tree she looked back and there was a giant tiger it was licking its lips. I got the girl and ran. She couldn’t walk because the tiger had bit her leg so i got her and took her into a bush so we could hide but he saw us. We ran as fast as we could then we made it to my house. He was going to bust my house down. He couldn't because my house was stronger than him then he went away and we took a big breath. Then I went to take this girl to the hospital. When I got back to the house thank god it wasn’t bust down.

last week we had are year 5/6 camp.

Museah

On Thursday team 2 went to the museah on the bus  to study dinosaurs fossils. First we went in the bus . Next we went to the Kai room to tae morning tea . My  group  walked to the wintergh to look at the flwse and the gardens. Afte that we went to weIrd and wild . To see her divores  and carnivores.

On Tuesday morning  room25 made healthy juice. First Ms Eadie cut the fruit. Next we put the fruitin the juicer. Then we took photos.  finally we drank it.

Dinosaur Adventure

We went Dinosaur  on a Adventure  today we went To  the park and took photos and then we ran back to class.

Syriah and Zara

Once a upona time there was a fish called Syriah and a mermaid called Zara and they lived in a 

Under water  castle in the sparkling sea.  One day Zara bought Syriah fom a pet shop.

Mr whippy

Mr whippy is and ice cream man. He goes around the streets. He play. Music for the kids
